Delivery Driver

You must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, and have access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Navigational skills are required to map and locate addresses in the delivery area, including navigating multi‑story buildings.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Perform basic math accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Provide correct monetary change.
• Demonstrate verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
• Navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Deliver product within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Drive a car for deliveries from the store to the customer’s door.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in hot work areas.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
li>Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Standing for most tasks; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum.
• Walking short distances regularly; traveling between store, vehicle, and customer locations.
• Sitting for paperwork at a desk.
• Lifting and carrying bulk deliveries (up to 50 lb) and stacking onto shelves.
• Carrying light items (e.g., cans, pizza sauce).
• Pushing and pulling trays on dollies; require force up to 7.5 lb.
• Climbing stairs or ladders infrequently; may navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
• Forward bending, squatting, and kneeling during stock and assembly tasks.

Workers must use hand‑tasks such as shaping pizza dough, manipulating a pizza peel, and assembling cardboard pizza boxes. Eye‑hand coordination and continuous use of hands are essential. Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle are required.
