Are you a detail-oriented Estimator who knows how to turn construction plans into accurate, competitive bids? We’re looking for a motivated construction professional to join a collaborative team and play a key role in winning projects and supporting successful project execution.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong estimating skills, a solid understanding of commercial construction, and the ability to work closely with preconstruction, operations, and field teams.
What You’ll Do- Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction estimates.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, and detailed estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Identify project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering alternatives.
- Assist with project budgets, preliminary schedules, and bid strategies.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Field Managers, and Preconstruction teams.
- Participate in estimate reviews, project turnover meetings, and proposal development.
- Maintain accurate estimating records, historical cost data, and estimating standards.
- 3–7 years of commercial construction estimating experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, labor, and costs.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimating.
- Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and construction technology platforms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
