Senior technician role responsible for leading complex process improvements, MES optimization, and cross-functional project initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Drive process automation and optimization initiatives.
  • Configure MES workflows and advanced reporting.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with engineering, quality, and IT.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
  • Train Technicians I–III on advanced MES applications.
  • Lead, coordinate, perform, and follow through testing and troubleshooting of engineering projects with complete resolution from system integration and assembly to parts repair and test verification. Assist in meeting project deadlines.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and assignment of engineering projects among the department technicians under the supervision of the department manager.
  • Assist the department supervisor/manager and act as an informal team leader in the supervision and training of other Manufacturing engineering associates.
  • Advise supervisor of departmental inefficiencies and offer suggestions to ensure proper utilization of support groups. Assigned projects require considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly project area and ensure an efficiently run lab. Ensure repairs to departmental and production test equipment are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the coordination of mechanical, electrical and software design changes with appropriate engineering groups.
  • Provide technical assistance to engineering and operations staff in the development, repair or maintenance of Analogic products.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 6–8+ years of progressive technician experience.
  • Expert-level MES user with configuration and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Extensive electromechanical skill, diagnosing and debugging complex system issues.
  • Previous experience conceiving and creating fixtures and jigs for manufacturing processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environments (ISO, FDA if applicable).
