• Conduct face‑to‑face and virtual tax interviews with clients via video, phone, chat, and email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
• Grow your tax expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
• Ability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly throughout tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course1
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone, and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing
• Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

$11.00 – $27.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job‑related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short‑term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
