* High school diploma or higher; coursework in psychology, education, or related field a plus
* Prior childcare, special education, or behavioral support experience preferred
* Ability to work consistent part-time hours (afternoons/evenings and/or weekends)
* Willingness to commute within 5-10 miles (30-45 minutes)
* CPR/First Aid certification preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a passion for working with children
* Bilingual Portuguese or Cape Verdean Creole is a plus!###

Job Duties
ABA Behavior Technicians report directly to the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).In collaboration with a program supervisor, instruct clients on developing communication skills, fostering play, establishing friendships, and enhancing independence, while addressing challenging behaviors.
Collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.
Attend to toileting and/or change soiled diapers/clothing as needed.
Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with the caregiver(s) of referred clients.
Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the therapy space at the conclusion of each session.
Participate in Clinical Review meetings for individuals on the assigned caseload.
6-month commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, speak, and listen to children. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to push items of 50 lbs. Such as pushing children on a bike, pulling a wagon or moving/rearranging furniture. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision.
