Position

Summary

The Sales & Marketing Manager drives member engagement, event participation, and revenue growth through relationship building, sponsorship development, and strategic marketing. This role will assist chamber members to feel connected, supported, and informed about opportunities to enhance their visibility and maximize the value of their membership.

Key Responsibilities Membership Engagement & Retention
  • Proactively engage with members to understand needs and identify opportunities for connection.
  • Support onboarding of new members, including welcome meetings and follow-up touchpoints.
  • Track engagement metrics and assist with retention strategies.
  • Promote event participation, sponsorship packages, advertising opportunities, and membership upgrades.
  • Work closely with the President & CEO to meet or exceed budgeted revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and follow-up.
Sales & Revenue Development
  • Promote event participation, sponsorship packages, advertising opportunities, and membership upgrades.
  • Work closely with the President & CEO to meet or exceed budgeted revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and follow-up.
Marketing & Communications
  • Develop and schedule content for social media featuring members, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute articles and updates for the monthly e-newsletter and printed newsletters.
  • Assist in developing marketing collateral and digital assets.
Event Support & Visibility
  • Represent the Chamber at events, ribbon cuttings, and community gatherings.
  • Help facilitate networking opportunities and connect members to one another.
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or relationship management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Active presence on social media and comfortable with content creation.
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus, not required.

Part Time; approx 25 hours week;
Mon-Fri 9a-2p, subject to chamber events that may occasionally fall outside these hours.
Salary range: $30-35/hr
