Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring MA licensure, Epic experience, and Level 1 trauma background.
Responsibilities

• Work in a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department with 44 beds

• Serves a trauma Level 1 patient population in a hospital setting

• 12-hour night shifts including every other weekend and coverage of two holiday shifts

• Utilizes Epic EMR for all charting and medication administration

• Access to a modern, spacious facility with fast-track, imaging, pharmacy, behavioral health, and family consultation areas

• Provide emergency care to patients with urgent medical needs and trauma

• Team includes highly skilled ED nurses and comprehensive support staff

• Day 1 pass/fail tests in Tele/ECG and medication will be administered during orientation with study guides provided

• Consistent email communication required for interview scheduling

• Excessive time off especially around holidays will not be considered
Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand required

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

• Level 1 trauma experience is mandatory

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Epic EMR experience required

• COVID-19 vaccine with booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions considered)

• Must not have been employed at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the past 6 months

• No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
