The Materials Associate performs a variety of manual and administrative tasks related to inventory control, stockroom management, kitting, expediting, shipping, and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.

• Receives, checks, stores, issues, and ships various items while maintaining inventory control.
• Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means (excluding forklifts or high‑bay vehicles) to load, unload, store, and deliver incoming and outgoing material.
• Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials.
• Proficiently uses computer hardware and software.
• Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment, records calibration logs of tools and equipment.
• Performs operator preventive maintenance tasks and refers major breakdowns to machine maintenance.
• Maintains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.
• Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
• Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
• Performs related duties as required within the scope of this function.

• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; if no diploma, 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with SAP.
• Forklift operation and pallet jack experience.
• Stockroom or warehouse experience.
• Experience filing customs paperwork.
