Position: Warehouse Trainer (Night Shift)

Shift

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 07:30pm - 03:30am (or task completed). Overtime is required based on business needs.

Overview of Warehouse Operations

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Responsibilities
  • Training employees on company and departmental procedures, such as new hire orientation, MHE training and annual MHE recertification, health & safety training for all leadership and associates, SOS and process training and develop any necessary training for the shift

  • Develop new training methods to improve associate retention & development

  • Participate in process improvement activities (Kaizen, RCPS, BB, etc) and identify process improvement opportunities

  • Analyze training data and adjust training plans based on business needs

  • Interact daily with associates and assist with equipment training questions

  • Ensuring that safety, quality and productivity standards are met

  • Coordinating housekeeping, inventory control, and complying with all QRA and safety requirements

  • Directly supporting employees in the distribution center in all functions, including:

  • Unloading trucks by hand and with the use of material handling equipment

  • Accurately breaking down, receiving, and stocking freight in accordance with QRA standards and local procedures

  • Order processing (accurately picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, and loading products)

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft office

  • Good written communication skills

  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications

  • Adheres to all quality guidelines

  • Works with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor

  • May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
