CT Technologist - PRN (48447)
Capitol Imaging Services is looking for a PRN CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while delivering accurate diagnostic images for interpretation.

- Job Shift: Day
- Perform CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed.
- Administer contrast agents under appropriate supervision and monitor patient response.
- Verify patient identification and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal image quality.
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the procedure.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Certification: ARRT (R) and (CT) certification required.
- State licensure (if applicable).
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or similar field.
- Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
- Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Flexibility in scheduling.
