Job DescriptionJBF Business Media is seeking a talented and experienced Studio Operations / Video Editor with strong editing skills to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in overseeing the studio operations and production process, ensuring seamless coordination, and utilizing your editing expertise to enhance the quality of our projects.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage all aspects of studio productions, including pre‑production, filming, and post‑production phases.
- Utilize your strong studio experience to set up and operate lighting, camera, and audio equipment.
- Shoot high‑quality footage in various studio settings.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Supervise production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay within budget.
- Use your editing skills to enhance the visual and narrative elements of our productions.
- Stay current with industry trends and technology to implement innovative production techniques.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and freelancers as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process.
- Proven experience in studio operations or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in setting up and operating lighting, camera, and audio equipment in a studio environment.
- Ability to shoot high‑quality footage with a keen understanding of composition and framing.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and technology.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Film, Media Production, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Portfolio showcasing previous production management, shooting, and editing work.
- Familiarity with studio equipment and production processes.
