Piping Designer

Join Pond & Company as a Piping Designer and contribute to transformative Energy projects across the U.S.

Pond is seeking a motivated Piping Designer to join our Energy team in one of our offices located in Atlanta, GA;
Peachtree Corners, GA;
Tampa, FL;
The Woodlands, TX; or Denver, CO. This role involves developing 3D piping models and detailed construction drawings, creating P&IDs, PFDs, and piping specifications, and collaborating closely with mechanical and process engineers.

• Develop 3D piping models and detailed construction drawings.
• Create P&IDs, PFDs, and piping specifications in accordance with project and industry standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to translate design concepts into high‑quality deliverables.
• Ensure all work meets project and industry standards while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Contribute to a team that values innovation, mentorship, and continuous learning.

• 5+ years of experience in piping design, preferably within the Energy or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, or similar 3D modeling software.
• Solid understanding of piping layout and design principles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a positive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Desire to learn, adapt, and grow professionally within a dynamic mechanical design team.
