JOB SUMMARY
Foresite Group is thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Structural Engineering Project Manager to join our team. This position offers a chance to work under the expert guidance of our Practice Area Leader, fostering both professional growth and technical expertise and will be based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia
. We are looking for a driven individual who embodies teamwork, possesses a robust work ethic, and demonstrates the ability to engage effectively with an integrated team. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities that are pivotal to the success of our projects.
We seek candidates who are adept in Autodesk applications, with a strong preference for experience using Revit. Exceptional communication skills, high levels of interpersonal skills, and unwavering integrity are critical attributes for this role. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare plans and specifications for structural projects across various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Practical application of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the structural engineering field including engineering formulas and skills.
- Organize, design and detail projects to produce a complete set of drawings.
- Conduct thorough research, and write detailed reports/opinions, including due diligence investigations and code studies.
- Utilize various engineering related computer software.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering with a proven track record of leading complex projects
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software including in Autodesk applications, preferably Revit.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards
- High level of interpersonal skills and integrity.
- Works well within a team environment
