Kimley‑Horn is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and grow its Water/Wastewater and Utilities practice in Peachtree Corners, GA.
OverviewAs a Senior Project Manager you will manage multi‑discipline projects, build practice teams, and develop business opportunities in water treatment, pumping systems, and large‑diameter conveyance.
Responsibilities- Manage, lead, and expand practice teams for multi‑discipline projects and programs in water/wastewater treatment, pumping systems, and large‑diameter conveyance.
- Develop a vision for growth of the local water resource practice and beyond, leveraging an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Operate with integrity and sound business principles, providing vision, business planning, and strategy.
- Establish goals, build and maintain positive client relationships, and communicate openly with partners and team.
- Grow and lead a Water/Wastewater and Utilities practice while managing projects profitably and mentoring staff.
- Lead, direct, and grow the business with substantial autonomy; successful candidates may benefit from an impressive bonus program and possible ownership path.
- 15+ years of civil engineering, design, and management experience on utility water projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Established client relationships with local municipalities, county authorities, and state agencies.
- Proven business development skills and ability to win work.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
- Strong desire to engage with clients solving project problems.
- Ability to manage, mentor staff, and direct resources positively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably.
