Senior Project Manager – Water/Wastewater

Kimley‑Horn is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and grow its Water/Wastewater and Utilities practice in Peachtree Corners, GA.

As a Senior Project Manager you will manage multi‑discipline projects, build practice teams, and develop business opportunities in water treatment, pumping systems, and large‑diameter conveyance.

• Manage, lead, and expand practice teams for multi‑discipline projects and programs in water/wastewater treatment, pumping systems, and large‑diameter conveyance.
• Develop a vision for growth of the local water resource practice and beyond, leveraging an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Operate with integrity and sound business principles, providing vision, business planning, and strategy.
• Establish goals, build and maintain positive client relationships, and communicate openly with partners and team.
• Grow and lead a Water/Wastewater and Utilities practice while managing projects profitably and mentoring staff.
• Lead, direct, and grow the business with substantial autonomy; successful candidates may benefit from an impressive bonus program and possible ownership path.

• 15+ years of civil engineering, design, and management experience on utility water projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Established client relationships with local municipalities, county authorities, and state agencies.
• Proven business development skills and ability to win work.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
• Strong desire to engage with clients solving project problems.
• Ability to manage, mentor staff, and direct resources positively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably.
