The Freight Flow Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience. Working with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in‑store expert for their department, focused on delivering best service to customers and coaching teammates.

• Build and hire a strong team through in‑store interviews and department tours.
• Create a people‑first culture by connecting with teammates to build trust, respect, and a strong store recognition culture.
• Plan, organize, and control 30‑day store operations in collaboration with the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce alignment for daily assignments, game plans, projects, and store events.
• Leverage teammates to ensure brand standards are met and programs/processes are executed daily, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Assist the store leadership team with general supervision, including opening/closing, front‑end and cash office functions, and firearms sales compliance where applicable.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment guidelines.
• Train teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding new teammates and cross‑training current teammates.
• Prioritize coaching and development, providing hands‑on coaching and explaining the “why” behind tasks and processes.
• Lead by example to support the vision of the organization, helping teammates understand how responsibilities align with common purpose and delivering a hassle‑free shopping experience.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, maintaining confidentiality of company information.
• Take an all‑hands‑on‑deck approach to support the team across the store.

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales or customer‑focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 70 lbs., with repetitive loads up to 25 times per hour.
• Ability to work extended periods (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 ft. with ladder or aerial lifting device.
