Territory Sales Manager

Company:

Territory:
Greater Atlanta, GA – covering Atlanta, GA and surrounding cities and suburbs.

Position Summary

As an Outside Sales Territory Manager, you will work independently to grow your market and manage a territory without internal competition. You will handle current accounts, grow sales, and treat your territory as your own business.

Compensation

Base: $50k to $60k
Commission: 3% on branch gross margin
Automotive allowance: tax‑free fixed & variable reimbursement for vehicle and fuel costs. Estimated gross pretax income for a top performer could range from $80k to $90k+.

Responsibilities
  • Handle current customer accounts and grow sales.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Perform field visits, callouts, and occasional Inside Sales Rep duties during vacations.
  • Use strong follow‑up skills to nurture client relationships.
  • Act independently and treat the territory as a self‑managed business.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated success in outside sales, preferably in woodworking or industrial/distribution.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Greater Atlanta geography is an advantage.
