Position:
Sales Representative

Objective:
As a sales representative, individuals will work closely with customers as the direct point of contact to grow and promote the sales of Best Cheer Stone products including, but not limited to, generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, developing long-term customer relationships, implementing strategic plans, managing customer accounts, pitching relevant product & service and ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish meeting and or exceeding customers expectations.

Sales representatives establish and maintain long-term business relationships with new and current customer’s base. In some cases, a sales representative will “cold call” prospects they find through business directories, trade shows, customers referrals, internet, or social media platforms. Other times, “warm” leads that have already expressed interest will be sent to them by Best Cheers marketing department. Being successful requires a mix of both building and maintaining customer relationships and consistently seeking new business opportunities efficiently and satisfactorily.

This position is part of the sales department and reports to the sales manager.

Sales Representative Responsibilities
  • Meeting and/or exceeding sales quota
  • Meeting and/or exceeding sales goal
  • Prospect, qualify, and complete solicitations on new leads
  • Maintaining client records
  • Preparing and submitting adequate sales orders
  • Serves customer by selling products and meeting customer needs
  • Sell using establish process and procedures including established price lists.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Services existing account, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call and visit on existing or potential prospects and other trade factors in a timely manner
  • Plan and complete weekly local customer visits
  • Plan and complete out of state visits 4 days per week on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume dealers and project customer’s
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports and weekly visiting reports
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigation problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending PK classes, workshops, attending trade shows – local and or out of state
  • Attend and participate in sales meeting
  • Any other tasks may be assigned
Sales Representative Requirements
  • 1-year minimum outside sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean background check, and pass drug test.
  • Prefer graduate with 4-year college degree.
  • Prefer fluent bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
