Outside Sales Representative

Compensation

• First year salary with end-of-year bonus

• Territory in Georgia
• Travel consists of day trips within the territory

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client, a leading provider in the HVAC and electrical equipment market, to recruit a Sales Representative. Our client is known for their commitment to quality and their dynamic, competitive environment. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, highly competitive individual who thrives on solving problems and building relationships with clients. You’ll be the face of the company, driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced market.

• Face‑to‑face and telephone sales with clients, contractors, and engineers
• Serve as bid captain: evaluate plans/specs, ensure proper scope, and correct bids
• Prepare estimates and quotations for direct sales
• Coordinate product estimating, submittal documentation, and ordering of materials
• Visit contractors and engineers within the territory
• Entertain clients and build strong relationships
• Coordinate all orders between customers and internal teams
• Visit project jobsites to solve field problems
• Meet designated sales quotas through proactive outreach (cold/warm calls, social media, etc.)

• Preferred degree:
  Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in selling HVAC or electrical equipment (commercial construction preferred)
• Project management experience in HVAC or electrical commercial construction considered
• Self‑motivated, highly competitive, and aggressive (enjoys‑solving and working with others)
• Strong organizational and detail orientation
• Computer literate (manual/computer pricing, Excel, factory websites)
