Engineer II, Software Engineering

The primary role of Engineering function within Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. Works closely with customers, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility. Developers may solicit customers for feedback regarding product usability and desired future enhancements.

Software Engineers who design, write and test code for the product should be matched in the either Software Engineering Applications or Systems. Product developers who specialize in hardware systems should be matched to Hardware Engineering.

** Brightree, a Res Med company, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Brightree Resupply engineering team. This role plays a critical part in scaling the SNAP product to broader market, supporting key and highly prioritized initiatives.

** Key Responsibilities*
* ** Required Qualifications & Experience
** 3+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably using Microsoft technologies in a web-based, high-traffic system.
2+ years of experience developing and operating applications in AWS, with a strong understanding of key AWS services and tools2+ years of experience developing front-end applications using React or React Native or another frond-end framework

Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices. Familiarity with AI-assisted development and agentic AI integrations to improve software delivery velocity.
** Preferred Skills & Experience
** Experience
** decomposing monolithic applications
** into smaller, autonomous services. Knowledge of
** Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
** and best practices for designing scalable services. Hands-on experience with
** Docker containerization
** in production environments. Familiarity with
** Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks**. Healthcare or HME industry experience will be a plus.
