We are looking for a Software Developer – Embedded Systems. This position will be based in Peachtree Corners, GA.
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to design and implement embedded software for RTOS and bare‑metal‑based products. This role involves working on innovative solutions across the complete product lifecycle, from design and validation to deployment and maintenance, focusing on algorithm development, wired/wireless communications, IoT security, and data analysis.
Responsibilities- Designing and implementing embedded C software for bare‑metal and RTOS microcontroller‑based systems.
- Developing innovative solutions in algorithm development, wired and wireless communications, and IoT security.
- Contributing to data collection and analysis across the full product lifecycle.
- Developing software tools to support verification and manufacturing processes.
- Researching and integrating new components, technologies, and methods into product designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience with the following:
- Embedded C software development, RTOS programming, and microcontroller/microprocessor (ARM Cortex) systems.
- Proficiency in C programming and debugging tools (e.g., JTAG).
- Hands‑on experience with hardware schematics, lab bench equipment, and electronic test instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, software testing tools (e.g., Unity, Sonar Qube), and version control systems (e.g., GIT, Clear Case).
- Familiarity with secure firmware and data transfer methods.
- Experience in designing energy monitoring products.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to debug complex code.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
