BAYADA Behavioral Health is a non‑profit employer seeking a School‑based Substitute Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) to work with individuals with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence and individuality.

• Work directly with students in the classroom following the established service plan.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams.
• Respect the values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes of clients and families.
• Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support the student in the classroom environment.
• Document interventions and progress toward goals.
• Collect behavior data as specified in the client behavior plan.
• Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the student acquire and maintain skills and meet identified goals.
• Provide support to the client in interpersonal skills, development, and maintenance of personal relationships, and building independence in their school routine.
• Support school age children to succeed with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Work across two school districts providing substitute support for RBTs.

• Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) Certified.
• One‑year RBT experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities is a plus, but not required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR passage of the Para Pro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available).

• Leeward District (Pearl City to Makaha).
• Starting Pay $27 - $32.
