This position is for a Social Services Supervisor - Wellbeing/Permanency with state angency work location in Rankin County, MS.
Duties and Responsibilities:Supervisory-level position accountable for administrative work involving professional social services, which encompasses the provision of case management services designed to strengthen, rehabilitate, and preserve individuals and/or families; and provide protection and care for children and vulnerable adults in need of supplementary, substitute care, or provide full-time intake services. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline.
Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 4-7 years of experience.
