Tax Preparer/Manager (Hybrid - Houston, TX)
Responsibilities include preparing tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Other duties may include reviewing work, providing client service, meeting with potential new clients, assisting with bookkeeping and payroll services as needed, team building with the office staff, and identifying growth opportunities.
Location and schedule- Hybrid – up to 2 days remote; initially 100% onsite during post-training
Hours are seasonally driven by tax season. Benefits include PTO and Health, Dental and Vision insurance.
Qualifications- CPA certification or EA certification is a plus but not required
- Experience as a Tax Preparer/Manager in a tax practice
- Interest in pursuing CPA or EA designation is encouraged
- Mid-Senior level
