Location: Pearland, TX (Houston Area)

Our client is seeking a passionate and talented Senior Estimator to join their team in Self-Performing Substations. In this position, you will contribute to projects that matter—helping communities thrive while solving complex and meaningful challenges.

• Lead and execute bottoms up estimates for transmission and distribution bids (mainly substations).
• Develop estimate schedules to manage workload and ensure timely completion of estimates.
• Review RFP and engineering documents.
• Focus mainly on high voltage scope vs. civil and foundations.
• Be responsible for detailed documentation of quantity take-offs and constructability analysis.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand needs, build trust, and deliver value.
• Review and incorporate quotes for vendors, subcontractors, bonds and insurance.
• Lead and support project team reviews for estimating quantities and scope of project.

• 5+ years of direct project estimating experience.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical estimation.
• Ability to work independently or in groups, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Con Est, and K-base.
• OSHA 10-hour certification.
