• Grade A License – $5,000
• Grade B License – $3,500
• Grade C License – $2,500

Hourly rate: $21.83–$23.63 based on experience and qualifications.

• Samples and monitors and performs testing required to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process, stormwater, and sludge management.
• Performs all work in conformance with Occupational Safety and Health Act regulations.
• Collects wastewater plant samples and runs onsite lab testing per TCEQ regulations.
• Walks the plant to collect data from hour meters, physically check pumps for proper operation, start centrifuge for sludge processing, and identify and address issues.
• Performs maintenance on wastewater plant equipment and basin maintenance.

• High school graduation or GED equivalent.
• Two years wastewater operation or closely related experience.

• Class C Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators License
• TCEQ Wastewater License
