City of Pearland is seeking an authentic, visionary, and people‑centered leader to serve as Fire Chief, a pivotal executive role responsible for providing senior‑level administrative and operational leadership for the Fire Department.
OverviewReporting directly to the Assistant City Manager, the Fire Chief will offer strategic insight and operational discipline, thinking broadly about the organization’s future while executing day‑to‑day operations. The candidate values transparency and earns trust through consistent actions and sound judgment.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will be a proven fire service professional with a strong command of modern fire suppression, emergency medical services, and all‑hazards response.
They will also have a deep appreciation for prevention, preparedness, and community risk reduction.
Compensation and Benefits- Starting salary range $180,000 – $220,000 per year (commensurate with qualifications and experience).
