The City of Pearland is seeking an authentic, visionary, and people‑centered leader to serve as Fire Chief. This pivotal executive role provides senior‑level administrative and operational leadership for the City Fire Department.

• Report directly to the Assistant City Manager, offering strategic insight and operational discipline.
• Oversee modern fire suppression, emergency medical services (EMS), and all‑hazards response.
• Provide leadership in prevention, preparedness, and community risk reduction.
• Think broadly about the organization’s future while executing day‑to‑day operations with precision.

• Proven fire service professional with strong command of fire suppression, EMS, and all‑hazards response.
• Deep appreciation for prevention, preparedness, and community risk reduction.

• Salary range: $180,000 to $220,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
