The USPI Pearland Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Operating Room Nurse to join our team. We have 2 main OR rooms and 2 minor OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Colorectal, General, Plastic, Pain Management, and GI Endoscopy. The position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or call. Candidates must be available for some early mornings and later evenings.
Schedule is subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Some later evenings required.
The Endoscopy Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will focus on excellent customer service, the ability to multi‑task, show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
- 1–2 years of experience working as Circulator.
- 1–2 years’ experience in Endoscopy.
- Current American Heart BLS certification.
- Scrub experience a bonus, but not required.
