As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will report to the Plasma Center Manager and support plasma center operations through donor eligibility determination, management of adverse events, laboratory result review, and adherence to regulatory standards. You will provide medical oversight under the guidance of the Center Physician.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical exam, blood testing, and serological testing.
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions in accordance with SOPs.
• Consult with Center Physician or Medical Affairs on medical/technical issues.
• Document and notify donors of test results and safety information.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate occupational health evaluations.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator for EHS investigations when authorized.

• High school diploma or equivalent; RN, NP, or PA license in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State-required basic IV therapy certification.
• Completion of FDA-approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• At least two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Hourly wage: $31.92 – $43.89 (dependent on qualifications and experience).
