Overview

Member Frontline Cashier – Walmart (Pearland, TX) Pay: $16.00–$23.00 per hour (part‑time). The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service at the front end of the store.

• Run registers and support members through the self‑checkout experience.
• Scan items, process payments, and maintain a clean, organized sales area.
• Greet, thank, and assist members with a positive attitude and quick, accurate service.
• Maintain safety of the facility (conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, handle hazardous materials).
• Provide member service by acknowledging needs, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products.
• Assist with payments per company policies, utilizing registers or self‑checkout areas.
• Zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, and collaborate with managers and co-workers.
• Communicate progress and information, recommend improvement opportunities, and adapt to change and feedback.

• Fast‑paced work environment comfort and multitasking ability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; focus on member satisfaction.
• Physical stamina: standing for extended periods while assisting members quickly and accurately.
• Problem‑solving skills, tackling obstacles head‑on to ensure task completion.
• Previous customer service or retail experience, including use of front‑end equipment and mobile retail applications.
