Inspections Sales Rep – Allied Fire Protection

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote and sell PMA inspection contracts and price deficiency services. The role involves selling products and services to new and existing customers, generating new business, cold calling, presenting and demonstrating products, and ensuring customer satisfaction through coordination with our service department.

• Sell and promote PMA inspection contracts and price deficiency services for alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, emergency exit lights, clean agent suppression systems, monitoring, and backflows.
• Generate new business and coordinate cold calling initiatives.
• Present and demonstrate products and services to customers.
• Work with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate owners’ turnover meetings with the construction department on newly completed projects to capture three‑year and optional recurring inspection agreements.

• A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 Fire Protection codes and NFPA 25.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be detail‑oriented.

• Minimum of two years relevant sales experience in alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, backflows, monitoring, and clean agent systems.
• Industry exposure to the aforementioned systems.
• Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines.

• Ability to generate sales of new Inspection Agreements and other services using prospecting, qualifying, and other sales techniques.
• Utilize existing customer databases to pursue potential clients.
• Prepare written quotes and contracts for inspection services.
• Follow‑up with customers promptly to capture sales.
• Assist customers over the phone in emergency situations.
• Flexibility with schedule changes on a daily basis.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Disciplined and self‑motivated to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and strong organizational skills with a positive attitude.
• Passionate attitude while making multiple cold calls.
• Attend service meetings as required.
• Follow established Allied Fire Protection SOPs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must possess stamina to perform mental labor for extended periods, safely visit job sites and customers during and after hours.
• Perform pre‑inspection requiring extensive walking on uneven surfaces in ambient temperatures.
• Require constant mental alertness, corrected vision, and hearing to a normal range.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.
• Must be able to work independently.
