Primary Purpose

To help maintain the physical school buildings in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times.

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Special Knowledge/
  
  Skills:
  
  
  • Ability to maintain valid Texas driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Basic knowledge of principles of construction and/or plant maintenance
  • Mechanical aptitude
• Experience: Three years in related trades
• Working Conditions: The use of electrical and mechanical equipment requires constant concentration.
• Mental Demands: The use of electrical and mechanical equipment requires constant concentration.
• Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
  • Walking; standing 8 hours a day;
  • Lifting and carrying minimum of 80 lbs;
  • Inside and outside work;
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions.

Pay Grade: 305

Pay Rate: $19.23 to $23.16
