RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the execution of wastewater clarifier removal, install/retrofit projects, installation, startup and repair services Including, but not limited to:
- Electro/Mechanical Assembly
- Complex tube bending
- Pipe threading and fitting
- Startup of Process Chillers and Pump Skids
- Clarifier repair and rehabilitation
- Onsite inspections and reports
- Use established work instructions and methods to provide installation, startup, and repair.
- Analyze problems, identify solutions, make corrections, and troubleshoot.
- Provide technical support for customers while on site and while traveling.
- Confidently communicate problems and solutions to customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferably a two-year technical degree in electronics; equivalent experience may substitute.
- Advanced electromechanical skills.
- Wastewater experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability including piping, tubing and equipment mounting.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with commonly used electronic test equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to travel to customer sites in the assigned region.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, telephone and customer service.
- Able to read and understand P& isometric drawings to determine tie points and equipment mounting locations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of fluid flow characteristics.
- Valid driver's license with Motor Vehicle Records review that satisfies company policy.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. on industrial catwalks and stairways.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
- Ability to travel as needed to best support the assigned territory.
- Strong computer skills required in Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing to submit to random drug screening.
- Capable of working with powered and manual hand tools.
- Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be willing to follow established safety and operational procedures.
- TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card possession or eligibility may be required, based on assignment or region.
