PEARSALL MINISTRY SITE DIRECTOR role at Youth For Christ USA Inc.

The Ministry Site Director provides spiritual and organizational leadership to carry out the mission of STYFC. This role recruits, develops, and leads volunteer teams, coaches residents, and builds partnerships with local churches and community leaders. The Site Director implements relational ministry actions that foster Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with youth, while managing ministry operations, fundraising, and administrative responsibilities. The position embodies STYFC core values and leads a healthy, growing ministry that impacts youth through the YFC ministry model.

• Ministry Team Development (40%)
  • Recruit, train, and maintain a volunteer ministry leader team in accordance with processes in the Knowledge Base
  • Conduct monthly training with volunteers
  • Coach residents in the assigned area with monthly one-on-one meetings
  • Establish strong connections between local churches and the ministry site
  • Provide training materials and ministry site standards for ministry leaders
  • Develop healthy ministry teams for each ministry site
  • Create a yearly vision and goals for the ministry site and help members see themselves in the vision
  • Establish necessary support and guidelines to ensure healthy and growing ministry at all sites
  • Advocate for young people in the community
  • Attend ministry and staff meetings as directed
  • Meet regularly with supervisor for supervision, coaching, and shepherding (minimum monthly)
  • Help manage and maintain YFC buildings or property
  • Other duties as assigned; report progress and ministry updates to STYFC
• Relational Ministry Action Development (35%)
  • Manage, facilitate, and serve in Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs)
  • Direct the ministry team in achieving RMAs standards
  • Establish and develop programming materials
  • Train and evaluate ministry site leaders in curriculum implementation
  • RMA requirements for site, including:
    Contacting (3x/week), Club (1x/week), Building Times (1x/week), Appointments (2x/week), Small Groups (1x/week), Core (1x/week), Trips, Camps, and other overnight events (Fall, Spring retreats, Summer Camp, staff retreat)
• Fundraising and Development (10%)
  • Grow and maintain donors; pray for partners; connect with donors at least annually
  • Provide ministry updates every 60 days and maintain 60-day reports
  • Update letters and maintain database
  • Assist with fundraising activities (e.g., fireworks stand as required)
• Administration (10%)
  • Complete and maintain 60-Day Reports
  • Provide monthly updates to Impact & Site Trackers
  • Respond to emails and document communications
  • Complete annual CPT Reports with the team
  • Maintain Ministry Budget and stay within monthly club expense limits; submit receipts promptly
  • Maintain confidentiality and incident reporting protocols; empower others to uphold confidentiality
• Personal Growth (5%)
  • Grow Spiritually: daily and weekly prayer as guided
  • Grow as a Leader: complete Knowledge Base trainings and other required trainings; engage with books, conferences, and leadership resources

• Self-motivated with strong moral character
• Ability to connect with youth and communicate effectively with youth and adults
• Ability to manage a diverse volunteer team and build relationships across cultures
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Perseverance through opposition and obstacles

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Three years of ministry experience

All employees participate in fundraising activities. Staff roles, including this Ministry Director, are missionary roles requiring personal financial support. Training is provided to help leaders build a sustainable support network. As a Ministry Leader you will be expected to:

• Initiate and maintain personal fundraising efforts to reach full support within the first year
• Build and maintain relationships with supporters through meetings, notes, and ongoing communication
• Invite your circle of influence to engage through fundraising events, monthly giving, and prayer support
• Lead by example in cultivating a support team that fuels the mission of reaching lost youth with the hope of Jesus
