An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join a growing organisation within their Business Development & Commercial team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys supporting multiple stakeholders, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality administrative work.
About the Role
You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the Business Development and Commercial function. Supporting senior team members, you’ll help coordinate documents, prepare tenders and reports, manage diaries, and maintain accurate records across internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide structured administrative support across the team
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, prepare agendas and minutes
- Create and format documents, reports, and presentations
- Assist with bid and tender preparation, including document collation and submission
- Collect information from different departments to support commercial activity
- Maintain CRM systems, trackers, and documentation repositories
- Support routine reporting, including KPIs and dashboards
- Act as a professional point of contact for enquiries into the department
- Ensure high standards of documentation quality, governance, and compliance
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Confident liaising with senior stakeholders and external partners
- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Desirable:
- Experience in business development, commercial support, or tender coordination
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Understanding of service delivery, public sector processes, or NHS environments
