Are you knowledgeable about the Building Safety Act 2022 and passionate about ensuring safe residential environments?

Would you like to support compliance within a complex property portfolio, helping to safeguard the safety of residents and staff alike?

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Advisor to support building safety operations across university halls of residence. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining compliance, managing safety documentation, and liaising with operational teams.

Key responsibilities of the Compliance Advisor include:

Monitoring and coordinating compliance tasks, ensuring safety checks and operational procedures are completed on time.
Maintaining accurate records of safety assessments, FRAs, and Safety Case actions, escalating issues as needed.
Facilitating effective communication between Residence Managers, Estates, and contractors regarding safety inspections and remedial works.
Supporting the maintenance of the Golden Thread information by providing validated operational data and ensuring safety documentation is up to date.
Reviewing Resident Safety Plans (PEEPs/GEEPs) for completeness and operational readiness, supporting emergency planning and risk management.

The ideal candidate will have:

A good understanding of the Building Safety Act and fire safety regulations
Experience managing compliance within large property portfolios, ideally within residential accommodation or similar environments.
Relevant professional qualifications such as NEBOSH, CIOB, RICS, or IFE.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
