A leading London developer is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a landmark £80m high‑rise residential scheme in Bermondsey. This is a rare opportunity to join this developer at a pivotal moment, with piling commencing in June and the project running through to late 2028.

You’ll be the commercial lead on site, driving procurement, managing key packages, and ensuring robust cost control from pre‑construction through delivery.

The Role

Lead the procurement strategy and tendering of all major work packages
Manage commercial reporting, forecasting, and cost planning throughout the project lifecycle
Work closely with the project director, design team, and site management to ensure financial governance and value engineering opportunities
Oversee subcontractor performance, valuations, variations, and final accounts
Maintain a strong presence on site (5 days per week) to ensure commercial alignment with programme and delivery

About You
To succeed in this role, you must have:

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor delivering high‑rise residential new build projects
Strong procurement expertise, ideally on schemes £40m+
A proactive, detail‑driven approach with the confidence to lead commercially on a flagship development
