Role:
Teaching Assistant

Support the Year 2 class teacher in delivering lessons as a proactive Teaching Assistant.

Assist pupils with SEN needs to access learning, providing individual support as a Teaching Assistant.

Help plan and implement engaging activities to develop children's skills as a Teaching Assistant.

Observe, record, and report on children's progress in your role as a Teaching Assistant.

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in KS1 or SEN settings.

Understanding of SEN strategies and support for children as a confident Teaching Assistant.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for a successful Teaching Assistant.

Ability to motivate and support children in a busy classroom environment as a Teaching Assistant.
