The Position – Reception Teacher

As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework. You will work collaboratively with the parallel Reception teacher in this 2-form entry setting, sharing planning and best practice to ensure consistency and high standards across the year group. You will create a nurturing, stimulating classroom environment that supports early communication, phonics, literacy, and numeracy development.

The role includes ongoing assessment, tracking pupil progress, and working closely with parents and carers to support each child’s individual journey. The ideal candidate will be creative, organised, and committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence in young learners.
