The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Secondary Teacher to join a well-established and inclusive secondary school in the Southwark area from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner to deliver high-quality subject teaching across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils to achieve strong academic progress in a structured and supportive school environment.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, this role offers the chance to join a collaborative department within a forward-thinking secondary school.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in your subject specialism
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
Support pupils with varying learning needs, including SEN where required
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues
Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and professional practice

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE qualification (essential)
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Reflective, adaptable, and student-centred approach
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and high academic standards
