The Role – Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with the class teacher, you will provide in-class support, as well as deliver small group and 1:1 interventions to help pupils reach their full academic and social potential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be proactive, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for education. While experience covering lessons is beneficial, the main focus of the Teaching Assistant role is to support learning, deliver interventions, and maintain a positive classroom environment.
