Daily Supply Learning Support Assistants

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to provide daily supply cover across a range of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools throughout Southwark.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging classroom activities.
Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning.
Support children with varying learning needs and abilities.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Have experience working with children or young people.
Are confident, adaptable, and able to work in different school environments.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Are patient, caring, and supportive in their approach.
Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Have school-based experience or relevant childcare experience (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
