Remedy Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Southwark on a full-time basis.

The successful teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment where pupils can develop academically and socially.

The Role:

Planning and delivering engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Differentiating lessons to support a range of abilities and additional needs
Preparing pupils for the transition into KS2
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of staff
Maintaining strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Requirements:

QTS is essential
Previous Primary/KS1 teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum
Confident classroom and behaviour management
A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain oneThis is a great opportunity for a Year 2 Teacher looking for a full-time position within a supportive Southwark primary school.
