Position: M&E Manager (Permanent)

M&E Manager (Electrical Bias) – Tier 1 Developer – £125M Residential Scheme – Bermondsey

A prestigious Tier 1 developer is seeking an experienced M&E Manager with a strong electrical background to join a flagship £125M, 800-unit new build residential project in Bermondsey.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile scheme with a market-leading developer delivering one of London’s major residential developments.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will take full responsibility for managing all M&E services on a large RC frame residential scheme, ensuring delivery to programme, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all electrical and mechanical packages from design coordination through to commissioning and handover

* Lead coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams

* Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions

* Ensure compliance with building regulations, HTM standards, and project specifications

* Monitor programme and progress, resolving technical issues proactively

* Oversee commissioning, snagging, and final handover

* Drive quality assurance and health & safety standards

Requirements

* Strong electrical background (trade or engineering qualification)

* Experience as an M&E Manager on large residential or mixed-use projects (£50M+)

* Previous Tier 1 main contractor or developer experience preferred

* Strong knowledge of commissioning, testing, and handover processes

* Excellent communication and coordination skills
