Field Service Engineer

Location: Elephant & Castle

We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to support customers across London for an energy systems business with sites across the North West and Ireland.

This is a role suited to someone with a mechanical, electrical, motor vehicle or related engineering qualification, as you will be maintaining, repairing and monitoring customer energy systems.

What’s on offer?

 * £38,789 p/a | Permanent position

* Mon – Fri | 8am – 4pm

* Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours

* 1.5x on Saturdays (2x after 4 hours)

* 2x on Sundays and bank holidays

* Standby fee for callout rota

What will you be doing as a Field Service Engineer?

* Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

* Completing reactive repairs efficiently

* Monitoring customer systems and equipment performance

* Helping improve reliability and reduce downtime

* Keeping accurate service and maintenance records

* Taking part in a 24-hour callout rota

What will you need?

* ONC, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, motor vehicle studies or similar
