Essex or Kent (UK-wide travel, primarily Southeast)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Benefits Package
OverviewUnify is currently recruiting for experienced Field Service Mechanical Engineers/Technicians on behalf of a well-established and respected engineering services provider.
This permanent position is based out of Kent or Essex, with responsibilities covering customer sites and industrial installations and maintenance contracts across the UK, predominantly within the South East region.

Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair Mechanical faults within commercial and heavy industrial systems
- Carry out fault finding, rewiring, testing and system monitoring
- Perform routine maintenance in line with manufacturer and compliance standards
- Rewire systems to a high standard, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations
- Lead and assist with planned projects and site outages
- Provide professional technical assessments and customer advice
- Deliver high levels of customer service while working independently on site
- Completed a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship
- Proven experience in fault finding, Maintenance, commissioning and repair.
- Full UK driving licence (preferably clean)
- Experience with in heavy engineering or industrial sectors
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with in the power generation and/or renewable energy sector (prime movers & balance of plant)
- Availability for 1 in 4 call-out rota
- Willingness to work away from home when required
- Competitive salary (up to £45,000 per annum)
