Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Southwark Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3- 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

We are looking for a Lawyer this role will be: SE1 2QH
Hybrid

The right candidate will:

* Significant highways experience including advising on complex Highways matters and Traffic Management Orders.

* Section 106/278 agreements

* Significant experience in dealing with complex s106 and s278 agreements

* Being able to provide legal expertise on highly complex issues for the council, ensuring that services are commercially focused business driven and comply with the Council’s statutory and contractual obligations.

* Significant experience of local government law Comprehensive and detailed knowledge in relation to the Law in one or more of the following areas:

* Planning, Regeneration and Highways Experience in giving advice on good governance arrangements

* Desired but not necessary: giving advice and being able to attend planning committees
