Technician - Pipeline Services
JP Services – Asset Integrity Solutions is seeking a Field Technician to oversee the setup, maintenance, and safe storage of company equipment. The technician will report to the Foreman, collaborate with team members, and help plan, execute and audit operations with the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day support for the entire project lifecycle (design, planning, execution, monitoring, evaluation, close‑out).
- Assist on site execution for small to large‑size projects.
- Follow directions and work with a group of field technicians for training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
- Follow operating objectives and policies.
- Execute projects using traditional project‑management practices to deliver quality products on time and on budget while minimizing risk.
- Complete required documentation for company specific procedures, processes, and client requirements.
- Assist the Foreman and Supervisor to plan, execute and audit operations with safety, integrity and excellence.
- Actively adhere to (and help enforce) Safety and Quality policies, procedures, and systems.
- Take part in quality improvement processes and respond to deficiencies.
- Understand risks, anticipate issues, assess impacts, and select mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and processes.
- Lead HSE initiatives and encourage accountability for safety.
- Validate operating procedures are in place and reflect required steps for safe project deployment.
- Set an example for professionalism and exceeding client expectations.
- Midstream pipeline experience in Pipeline Cleaning, Separation, Hydrostatic Testing, and Integrity is preferred.
- Ability to learn and understand Pipeline Hazardous Materials and Safety Administration requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to be a contributing part of a team.
Skills and Abilities
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a client‑required drug test.
- Ability to travel throughout the US.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work extended hours at field sites.
- Ability to work night shifts.
- Will work in remote areas for extended periods.
- Frequent standing periods.
- Ability to pass a Fit for Duty test.
- Exposure to hot and cold climates.
