Travel RN – Labor & Delivery | Critical Access Hospital | Pecos, TX (13-Week Contract)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 36/48 hours alternating weekly (guaranteed hours)
Setting: Critical Access Hospital – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum
We’re seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a Critical Access Hospital in Pecos, Texas
. This unique opportunity offers a flexible 36/48-hour schedule and the chance to provide essential care in a rural community setting.
Active Texas RN license (or compact, if applicable)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
Comfortable working in a rural/critical access environment with lower volumes but higher responsibility
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals, intervening as necessary
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal care teams
Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
Document accurately and maintain compliance with hospital standards
