This position is for a travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) working night shifts at a critical access hospital in Pecos, Texas. The nurse will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care, assist in deliveries, monitor patient status, and collaborate with healthcare teams. A current Texas RN license and recent labor and delivery experience are required for this 13‑week travel assignment.

A critical access hospital in Pecos, Texas is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an L&D RN who is comfortable working night shifts, practicing with a high level of autonomy, and providing comprehensive maternal and newborn care in a smaller hospital setting.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Educate patients and families throughout the labor, delivery, and recovery process

• Active Texas RN license or compact license
• Recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• BLS certification required
• Additional certifications such as ACLS and NRP may be required
• Ability to work independently in a critical access Labor & Delivery environment
